I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
